Activities
Group activity blocks are filled with options appropriate for age and ability of each group. The facilitator or host of each group will help choose activities. Activity block options may change due to scheduling conflicts, availability or weather.
Group Initiatives
Your group will face mental and physical challenges while attempting to successfully complete these ground-based activities. These activities are designed to stretch imaginations and encourage solutions. We create an atmosphere that allows each student to assume different roles and use a variety of positive communication techniques. Each of our trained facilitators carries a " bag of tricks" from which he/she can pull appropriate games and activities. The activities depend on the progress of each group.
Low Ropes Course Elements
Our ropes course offers a more advanced challenge for any group. Activities involve spotting, trust and communication. We strongly adhere to safety precautions.
High Elements
High Adventure activities include our climbing wall, ropes course obstacles, and our 50-foot Alpine Tower. High elements are geared to build support among groups, encourage a spirit of adventure, and develop individual strengths. Climbing harnesses and ropes are integral aspects of the High Elements Program.

Programmed Activities
These are indoor/outdoor activities that are lead by the YMCA program staff. They are designed as a team building wrap-up for the day or a "just for fun" activity to finalize a great day of teamwork.
Optional Programming
Enjoy a campfire with sing-along and/or skits. After a long day, take a short hike under the stars and experience the sights and sounds of the night.
Non-Programmed
Take a hayride along the shady banks of Fourché Renault Creek. A typical ride lasts approximately 30 minutes. We also have an indoor recreation center with basketball/volleyball courts for winding down or burning off excess energy before bedtime.
